Tool Limitations

To ensure 100% destruction of all binary signatures and EXIF data, this tool uses a "pixel reconstruction" method via HTML5 Canvas. While this guarantees the file is completely clean, it means the output file is technically a freshly compressed image. If you require absolutely mathematically identical, 100% lossless binary preservation of the original pixels for archival purposes, exporting as a PNG is recommended, though it will result in a larger file size.
