How to Use This Tool

1. Click the "UPLOAD IMAGE" zone or drag and drop any photograph or graphic (JPG, PNG, WebP) directly into the browser workspace.

2. Under "EXTRACTION DEPTH," choose how many colors you want the tool to analyze and extract. You can select Minimal (5 colors), Balanced (10 colors), Detailed (15 colors), or Maximum (20 colors) depending on your needs.

3. Click "Re-Extract Colors" to let the engine analyze the image and generate a visually harmonious color palette in real-time.

4. Click on any individual color swatch to instantly copy its HEX code to your clipboard.

5. Under "QUICK ACTIONS," click "CSS Vars" or "JSON Data" to copy the entire palette code for development, or click "Download Palette" to save a high-resolution PNG image of your swatches for mood boards and reference folders.

How This Benefits You

Manually color-picking individual pixels using the eyedropper tool in Photoshop or Illustrator is tedious and often results in disconnected, unnatural color schemes. This tool automatically mathematically analyzes the dominant colors in a reference image and instantly generates a cohesive, real-world palette that you know works perfectly together, right in your browser.

Who Should Use This

• Web Designers & UI/UX Experts: Extract the exact color scheme from a client's mood board or reference image to instantly build a high-converting website design system and copy the CSS directly into your code. • Digital Artists & Illustrators: Pull dominant colors from an inspiring photograph to maintain realistic lighting, shadow tones, and atmospheric color harmony in your digital paintings. • Video Editors & Colorists: Break down the specific hues used in a cinematic movie still or reference frame to help you color grade your footage to match that exact aesthetic. • Brand Strategists: Build out primary and secondary brand color palettes directly from real-world photography that represents the brand's core identity.

Tool Limitations

Because this tool mathematically calculates the dominant colors based on the volume of pixels in the image, it may occasionally overlook a very tiny but vibrant accent color. If an image is overwhelmingly dark or mostly one color, the resulting palette might feel less diverse. For the absolute best results, use high-quality images with distinct, contrasting color zones and set your extraction depth to 15 or 20 colors to capture smaller details.
